Clarence Bennett, Sr.89-year-old lifelong resident of Zachary, LA enter into eternal rest January 16, 2016, at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA.
Visitation Thursday, January 21st from 6-8pm at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722. Visitation Friday, January 22nd 9AM until Funeral Service 10AM at New Pilgrim Baptist Church 4415 Old Weis Road Zachary, LA. Rev. Errol K. Domingue, Pastor Rev. Carl M. Bailey Officiating. Interment in the LA National Cemetery Zachary, LA
Survived by to cherish his precious memories are Geraldine(John) Anderson; Brenda(Milton) Carter Donald Bennett; Michael Bennett Teltrick (Trinia) Young; Virginia Stewart; Melvin Jackson and others; Chance Bennett (Finance` Bobbi Sue) and Ashley(Frank) Wilson who he adopted as his own.14 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 5 sisters-in law, 4 brothers-in law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
Preceded in death by his wife Althea Bennett, beloved daughter Alice Bennett, son Melvin Bennett, parents, brother, sister, daughter-in-law and sister in law.
