A retired Licensed Carpenter and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1:30 AM at his residence. He was 67, a native of Norwood, a 1966 Graduate of East High School and a Vietnam War Veteran.
Visitation at Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton on Wednesday, February 10th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Religious service at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 9147 Hwy 422, Norwood on Thursday at 11:00 AM Bishop George Veal, Pastor, Rev. Eric W. Robertson, Officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mattie D. Dunn, two devoted daughters, Charlotte Dunn and Monica M. Dunn both of Baker, LA, two devoted granddaughters; Cha’Quoncia Ruffin and Cai’Brielle Dunn both of Baton Rouge, LA, six sisters; Beulah D. Robertson, Baton Rouge, Rose D. (Willis) Doolittle, Baker, LA, Willie B. Georgetown, Baton Rouge, LA Devoted sister Loretta D. Dunn, Baton Rouge, LA, Earnestine D. Gordon and Geraldine Dunn both of Clinton, LA, one aunt, Maggie Dunn, Amite, LA, devoted brother-in-law; Jake Spears, Sr., Baton Rouge
He was preceded in death by his parents; Roosevelt Dunn, Sr. and Lizzie B. Dunn, one sister, two brothers, two nephews and one niece.
