Obituary of Tevin Bernard Reed
Please share a memory of Tevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
"Long Live Reed Boi" Tevin Bernard Reed peacefully entered into eternal rest with a multitude of family and friends by his side on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the age of 21. Tevin was born on January 1, 1995 to Tamatha Matthews and Stephen Reed Sr. He was also blessed to have a father in Frank Hall who loved and supported him as his own. Tevin graduated from Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana in 2013. A fearsome athlete, Tevin was a three year starter on his high school football team and during his senior year, he made 1st team All District and All Metro. In 2013, Tevin accepted an athletic scholarship with Prairie View A&M University in Texas. Always following the beat of his own drum, Tevin decided that college wasn't for him and began to seek his purpose. His final occupation would be the one that fulfilled his desire and brought him much gratification as a Resurface Technician through his family owned and operated business, Premier Refinishing. Religious service will be held at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Blount Road, Baton Rouge, officiating by Pastor William Bates, Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11 am; interment, Southern Memorial Gardens,
