A native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away at 2:30 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his home. He was 47, an Exxon Mobil employee, US Army Reserve veteran and graduate of Scotlandville Magnet Class of 1986. Visiting at Church of God, 3135 Ozark St., on Tuesday, June 7 from 6-8 pm and religious service on Wednesday, June 8 at 10 am., conducted by Dr. Mark Dillard, Sr. Interment in Galilee Cemetery, Wilson, LA. He is survived by his four sisters, Lamonica (Terry) Tillman, Sharon (Alvin) Muse, Carla (John) Rheams and Angela (Trent) Powell; and three brothers, Terry (Shantel) Matthews, Eric (Lisa) Carter and Gregory Westmore. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellen L. London and Elmo Matthews, Jr.; sister, Jennifer Bindon; and brother, Gregory Matthews.
