A native of Clinton, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 75. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722 from 5-7pm. Funeral Service will be11AM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Freeman Baptist Church 4628 Highway955 W, Ethel, LA 70730. Rev. Mac Henry Wallace Officiating. Interment in Mt. Hope Baptist Church Cemetery 9654 Hwy10 Ethel, LA 70730. He is survived by his twin sister Valaida B. Taylor; two brothers Claude Boatner(Roberta) and Alfred Marshall(Julia); two nieces Greshlyn Taylor and Lillie Armstrong; five nephews Claude Boatner, Jr., Andre Boatner, Alfred Marshall, Jr., Patrick Marshall and Christopher Marshall; two sisters-in -law; two brothers-in law; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Sarah S. Boatner and parents James and LaClede S. Boatner.
