Rosa Dell George Higgins was born April 23, 1934 in Clinton, LA to the late Wilbert and Susanna George. Rosa departed this life on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the comfort of her own home. She will forever be remembered by her loving sons James (Patricia) Collins and John Collins III, 5 sisters, Dorothy George, Ervia Lee Deemer, Aline (Quincy) Howell, Ruby Lee Moore, and Gennett McCallister, 1 brother, Frank (Linda) George, 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Joe L. Higgins (husband), Susanna and Wilbert George (parents), Jimmy, Edward, and Wilbert George (brothers), Adele and Gladys George (sisters), and Cedric Jiles (grandson). Visitation is Friday, June 3 from 6pm-8pm at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton and Saturday, June 4 from 10am-11am at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 8159 Highway 961, Clinton, LA. Religious services begin at 11am Saturday, June 4 at Beech Grove Baptist Church.
