Elmer Chriss Coleman passed away peacefully on Thursday July 28,2016 in Kenner, La. "Celia", as she was affectionately known, leaves a legacy of love, strength and grace to her daughter, Barbara Flowers; sister, Rosie B. Harris; step-daughter, Geneva Harry (Clemeal); grandchildren, Twanda Coleman, Joseph Flowers, Shedrick Flowers (Jada), Coulette Kennedy (Reginald) and Andre Auzunne; and eight great-grand children. Elmer was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Coleman; parents, Cain and Mandy Chriss; daughters, Theresa and Evangeline; Sisters, Olivia Chriss and Mary Tutson; brothers, Samuel, John, Eary, Cain Jr., Percy, Nolan and Ancil; and son-in-law, Joseph Flowers Jr. The family invites relatives and friends to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 9296 Beechgrove Rd Clinton, La 70722. Visitation on Friday Richardson Funeral Home Clinton La 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
