Obituary of James Bernard Barnes
A native and resident of Clinton, La passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Reg. Md. Center. He was 60. James was a veteran of the US Army, a professional welder and well known for playing his saxophone at numerous churches. Visiting will be Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5-7pm at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Highway 67 Clinton, LA 70722. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11am. Rev. Ted Bradley, Officiating. Interment in Harris Hill Cemetery Clinton, LA. He is survived by his wife Patricia Brown Barnes, (4) Daughters Ametria, Chrisiti, Jamesia, Kanisha Barnes; (1) God Daughter Charmeka Moten; (2) sisters Lucille Archie, Libby Elie; God sister Tiffany Burton; (2) Brothers Joe Spears and Johnny Barnes; (5) grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents John B. Barnes, Jr. and Sally Parker Barnes; Maternal and Paternal Grandparents; (2) sisters Donna Simpson and Shirley Davis; (1) grandchild Ja'meia Barnes.
