Obituary
Obituary of EM WALKER
Please share a memory of EM to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
EM Walker ( lil' brother) was born on March 3, 1928, to the late EW & Annie Walker. EM was joined in matrimony to the late Lula M. Turner on May 10, 1947. He was a life long farmer, he spent most of his younger years as a logger. EM was a friend to many and like so many others in the community he found peace in his work in the church. He was a devout Deacon at Little Antioch Baptist Church, where he touched many lives with his words of wisdom and presence.
EM is survived by four children, Evelyn (Robert), Jeremiah (Melissa), Mamie & Ernest (Geniva);one sister, Edna Harrison; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
EM was preceded in death by one son (Odell); and two brothers and five sisters. EM will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Thanks, for observing the COVID-19 Protocol The Ochsner Health System Lead by Dr. Burke Brooks and all the neighbors, friends and acquaintances who stop by just to speak and pass the time with dad. "Much appreciated"
