Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Lewis,Jr. (Baton Rouge, LA) posted a condolence
Thursday, August 8, 2013
To: The McKnight Family
From: Pastor Thomas H. Lewis, Jr.
It troubled our spirits when the news of Cleveland's (Duty) reached us.
Though there is a 17 year age difference, we shared some things in common. We lived in the same area; had respect for each other; and we realized the need forr Christ in our lives.
Cleveland's grandmother (Liza) and my grandmother (Rosie) were twin sisters.
Memories of "Duty" and other family members who have moved from labor to reward will continue to live on in our hearts. Memories - precious they are.
Mildred and children (wife/kids); Tasha (sister); Roy and Rosie (brother/sister); T-Po (father); and others, "trust in the Lord with all thine heart; In all of thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."
Family, hold on to God's unchanging hands. Build your hopes on things eternal. Hold to God's unchanging hands.
Farewell "Duty." In your absence, we will walk by faith."
With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Pastor Thomas H. Lewis, Jr.
