The Lord Knows Just How Much You Can Bear! I am deeply saddened! Just learning about his death. My mother the late Mrs. Hattie Lawson played at Fairview Baptist Church for many years. Willie James And His WHOLE family was in the choir and His family served many different positions in the church. Their parents brought them to church and Willie James and ALL of his sisters and brothers were active in church. Often times he would service our electric lines and he was always kind humble and patient. My Mom use to take us to their house and they welcomed my family with open arms. He is missed!! He was a True Cowboy but he was true to serving God! I believe he treated people the way he wanted to be treated. Always love to the Perkins Family from the Lawson Family ( Sheila, Ollie, David,Jr. Sunshine , James and Falonona)

Joyce, Gloria and I are just devastated by the death of our dear Willie. When he stopped by the house to tell us he was retiring we were so excited for him. It was such a joy to work with him at the stockyard all those years and we had some good times together even during the hard work and sometimes long days. He will be much missed by us and many, many other people. You will be in our prayers during the hard days ahead. Your friend, Charles Delony
